Let’s be honest — those first couple of weeks are a surreal blur of 2 a.m. feedings, diaper changes and sleep-deprived eyes.
But I can’t count how many times I’ve wished to relive just one of those early days with my sons. To take an extra minute to soak everything in. To hold their wrinkly hands again. Rub their soft little feet. Hold them close without them wriggling away.
In those moments, I turn to the pictures. I crawl into them and sit quietly in the incredibly special time they hold.
